2. Use lukewarm water — never hot, as heat opens the cuticle and causes shedding
3. Apply sulfate-free shampoo sparingly; focus on the scalp and mid-shaft
4. Rinse thoroughly, letting water run through the lengths (don't rub or twist)
5. Apply a deep conditioner and let sit for 20–30 minutes with a shower cap
6. Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle and add shine
7. Lay flat to dry on a towel — never sleep on a soaking wet install
